We loved the central location and the spacious room with good heating. Santi, the owner/manager, was amazing and provided us with a helpful map for a scenic walk from Zahara to El Bosque. The breakfast spread was generous and delicious, offering a variety of options.

We had a fantastic holiday at Hostal Marques de Zahara. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the town with great restaurants nearby. The room was comfortable with effective air conditioning that kept the temperature pleasant. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated and the manager, Santiago, was very helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious, served in a charming inner courtyard. We also loved the view from our balcony on the second floor. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful stay at a lovely old hotel set in the heart of a charming village. the hotel had a real Spanish feel to it, reminiscent of years gone by. the beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. I also opted for the breakfast option, which was excellent and offered great value for money. the staff were friendly and courteous, providing top-notch service throughout my stay. the hotel was conveniently located, making it a great base for exploring the surrounding areas. I particularly enjoyed visiting Ronda, which was only a 40-minute drive away. Zahara itself had a beautiful castle with stunning views, making it a worthwhile attraction. I highly recommend this hotel as a wonderful place to stay. Cons: Almost perfect! 👌.

What a great time I had hiking, cycling, and canoeing in that picturesque setting! Loved the bar, restaurant, and free WiFi. The safety features were also top-notch. So convenient to have luggage storage and a library on-site.

Ah, how I delight in the false advertising! I was looking forward to the furnished sun terrace and the promised concierge services.

I recently stayed at Hostal Rural Marques in Zahara and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect, situated in the heart of the village on a lively street with plenty of bars and cafes to choose from. The hotel itself, a charming old house, was beautifully decorated with unique touches like suits of armor and green plants. My room was large and traditionally decorated, complete with tiled floors. The staff were friendly and greeted me with professionalism, providing a no-fuss check-in process. I was pleasantly surprised to find that breakfast was included, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The owner took the time to explain how to use the amenities in the room, such as the air conditioning and TV, and even met my request for a quiet room. I had a peaceful and enjoyable stay, and would highly recommend this hotel.

I would be happy to recommend this hotel.
